LZ X-Ray is a tribute band dedicated to performing Vietnam era rock n' roll. Based in Upstate South Carolina, the project is was launched by Jeff Edwards(Guitar, Vocals), Doug Maenhoudt (Drums), and Michael Tucker (Bass) as a way to honor veterans and perform music that shaped the country for decades to follow.
Spawning from the success of regional indie rock powerhouse the Jeff Edwards Band, LZ X-Ray features iconic Vietnam music like "Ohio", "Fortunate Son", and "Paint it Black". With decades of performing experience and a deep love for military history, Doug, Jeff, and Michael's musical chemistry recalls the best power trios of the era.
